Julia Cuppy is an accomplished actress/singer as well as highly qualified educator, producer, director, writer, and a powerhouse individual in the arts.
Her teaching skills at the Grants Pass (Oregon) High School Theater Department, show understanding, support, and empathy to her students as they deal with today’s issues while providing a first-class education. She seeks to empower her students encouraging them to find their “voice” all the while providing a safe and creative environment. MORE: https://www.gphstheatre.com
Julia’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is not limited to her students. She is working hard toward building her non-profit organization Aggregate Collective. They are “a group of multi-hyphenated theatre makers from various backgrounds and experiences who act together to provide resources to new creative work in its early stage of development using two core values - practicing radical hospitality and offering shared learning.”
On a larger scale, Julia looks for ways to partner with other educators, and arts organizations as educator, producer, director, and performer. Julia is a driving force in bringing educators from surrounding states to work together to improve arts education with diversity, equity, and inclusion as a core principle.
