Medallion Luncheon 2007

This year’s sixteenth annual luncheon honored significant achievements for the enrichment of children in the United States and Canada through nurturing artistic work in theatre.

The 2007 Medallion Luncheon was held in the Westin Bayshores Resort, Vancouver, BC,
August 2, 2007.

The following were honored:

Christopher Gaze

Nationally honored stage artist, founder/ artistic director of Bard on the Beach;
creator of numerous
Shakespearean Workshops in
schools of Western Canada

 

Gina May

Lifetime contribution
to arts and theatre education in Washington State and nationally; leader, advocate, long commitment to the Winifred Ward
Memorial Fund, and a former CTFA Board Member

 

Tom Behm

Lifetime contribution to theatre for youth and children; founder/director
of the North Carolina Theatre for Youth for several decades; theatre artist, educator, playwright; and 30 years of service as Board member of CTFA

 


Elizabeth Ball

Founder and Artistic Director of two continuing theatres--Carousel Theatre for 27 years, and the Waterfront Theatre on Grandville Island for 10 years. Now a Councillor of Vancouver, she is acclaimed as "Arts Councillor" in City Hall
